The images that you see on this page are some of the proposal plans for a brand new indoor extreme sports venue! At last, people are hearing our cry for some cool new extreme sports venues that the weather can’t disturb! But,( there is always a “but”) there’s a problem. The guys responsible for this holy land of adrenaline activities need as much support as possible to get the go ahead.

"Where is it? What going to be inside?" I hear you cry. Ok, ok. Chill out. I will tell you.

The planned location of Leisuredome will be in Weston super Mare. This is mid-way on the M5, which makes the dome very accessible to the rest of the UK.
For people who know Weston, the site is Locking Parklands (the Former RAF Locking Base).

Ok, down to the information you really want to know; WHAT’S IN LEISUREDOME?!

• A 210m indoor ski slope, the longest in the UK, with capacity for up to 250 people on the snow at any time. The slope has a main ski run with varying gradients to recreate the slopes of the mountains and meet the requirements of skiers and snowboarders at all levels of ability. A wide training slope and children’s fun area will be at the bottom of the slope.

• A massive 160ft indoor rock climbing wall, the tallest in the UK, and bouldering facilities. This will help to accommodate the growing number of local climbers that only have one climbing centre nearby.

• Indoor skateboard and BMX park. Weston super Mare has massive skateboard and BMX community, who will welcome the indoor park to improve and test their skills.

• Indoor skydiving tower. Enabling the public, who don’t like the sound of jumping out of a plane, to experience the feeling. This will also allow experienced skydivers to practise skydive moves without the expense of using a plane.

• Indoor surfing. Two massive imitation wave machines bolted together to create an awesome surf experience without the disappointment of bad weather or poor swell. Perfect wave every time.

• A health club. Because we adrenaline junkies need to stay in shape.

• Retail outlets. So you will be able to buy your extreme sport equipment here too.

• Food retailers. To keep the energy up during a truly awesome day at extreme sport heaven.
• 682 vehicle parking spaces.
