Sandboarding is basically snowboarding but, you guessed it, on sand! You can also use a camping mat as a type of sledge.

This is the type of extreme sport that you would probably only do a few times in your life whilst on holiday unless you happen to live in or near a desert!

Some snowboarding experience would be an advantage.

Not much equipment needed for this sport. A snowboard with boots and bindings will set you back around £220. But if you take a snowboard on holiday to Egypt you might get looked at like a circus freak!
