Tandem

You are attached to a skydive instructor. This enables people to try out skydiving with no experience.
The jump altitude for this is between 10,000 to 15,000 feet and the parachute cord is pulled at around 4,000 feet giving you around 45 seconds to a minute of free fall.
The age restriction for a tandem jump is 16. Under 18’s will have to have parental consent. There is no upper age limit but over 40’s will have to provide a medical approval from there doctor.
The weight restriction for a tandem jump is 16 stone so if you want to try it stay off the pies!

Static Line

If you don’t want to be strapped to an instructor but don’t want to spend the money on learning to skydive then try this. You jump from the plane at around 4,000 feet. There is a cord attached to the plane that deploys your parachute for you. An instructor on the ground guides you to the landing zone through a radio connection.

Solo Courses

If you want to become a skydiver then this is the one for you. After a day in a class room you will taken up to around 13,000 feet to do a solo jump with two instructors. They will hold on to you while you try to steady yourself as you have been shown in the class room.
